Hair loss in men what held it in yesterday
Hair Loss in Men: What Held It In Yesterday?
Hair grows for a period of 2-6 years, and each hair grows about ˝ inch a month. After its years of growth, a hair goes into a resting phase, and, eventually falls out, to be replaced by a new hair. Visible hair loss occurs when hair that has fallen out is not replaced.
Male Pattern Baldness is permanent and the most common form of hair loss for men. This is usually inherited and, the earlier in life it begins, the more extensive the baldness becomes. Basically, hormones make hair follicles shrink and, when small enough, they cannot replace lost hairs. Pattern baldness is characterized by a receding hairline and a bald patch on the top of the head.
Men who experience common pattern baldness have three choices. They can “grin and bear it,” concentrating on their other good qualities, both physical and mental; they can decide to shave their entire heads which is rather a popular “look,” even among younger full-headed men; they can explore hair replacement treatments and/or plastic surgery.
If general hair loss occurs without common patterns, the causes are many and sometimes difficult to isolate. Common causes of significant loss are as follows:
1. Poor Diet, especially lacking in protein and amino acids
2. Surgery
3. Diabetes
4. Poor thyroid
5. Certain Medications, most notably blood thinners, those to treat gout, some antidepressants, and most forms of chemotherapy
6. Infections, usually fungal scalp infections
7. Diseases such as lupus
8. Psychological stressors, most commonly divorce, death, loss of job/income
Many of the above-listed causes are temporary and/or treatable, and hair will return. In some instances, hair may return thinner than before.
Each man must decide how he feels about hair loss before making a choice to accept it for what it is (something natural), or to investigate possible medical treatments. If hair loss makes you “feel” older or less attractive, then you should seek treatment. In actual fact, you don’t have to just sit and accept it. You can get Provillus.
Provillus is an oral supplement, which works to block DHT, a form of testosterone that is responsible for 95 percent of hair loss. It also works to stimulate the scalp and bring dead follicles back to life. You can use Provillus as a preventative tool, starting the program before hair loss becomes severe, or you can use it after DHT has already begun to take hold of your hair and scalp. You can get it at www.provillus.com.
Remember: Acceptance or treatment is both preferable to camouflage attempts, such as “combing over” remaining hair or purchasing a bad wig.
